After successfully running his own Instrumentation and Electrical company for many years, Gord transitioned into leadership roles within larger organizations, eventually joining Startec in 2016. Since then, he has progressed from Service Operations Manager to VP of Operations and now serves as President of Startec Refrigeration Services Ltd.

In his role, Gord oversees strategic planning, sales, projects, engineering, operations, and finance, driving continued expansion and market leadership. Under his leadership, Startec Service has seen significant growth in the Commercial HVAC sector, as well as industrial and commercial refrigeration projects. A key milestone in 2024 was securing Startec’s Frick Factor agreement. Additionally, he has been instrumental in advancing CO₂ refrigeration solutions for both Commercial and Industrial applications.

A Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) with a strong background in HSE, Gord is deeply committed to continuous learning. He has been a member of The Executive Committee (TEC) for five years, investing in leadership development through programs such as Leadership from the Inside Out, Results, Building Leaders, and Dale Carnegie Training.
