Throughout his time at Startec, Gord has played an important role in the growth and development of the company’s industrial refrigeration, commercial HVAC and refrigeration, and aftermarket service capabilities. His leadership has spanned strategic planning, sales, projects, engineering, operations and finance, with a focus on strengthening Startec’s ability to support customers throughout the lifecycle of their equipment and facilities.

Gord has also been instrumental in advancing CO₂ refrigeration solutions across both commercial and industrial applications, bringing experience with technologies increasingly relevant to evolving thermal management requirements. A key milestone was securing Startec’s Frick Factor agreement in 2024, further expanding the company’s industrial refrigeration capabilities and lifecycle support.

A Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) with a strong background in HSE, Gord is deeply committed to continuous learning and leadership development. He has been a member of The Executive Committee (TEC) for several years and has invested in leadership development through programs including Leadership from the Inside Out, Results, Building Leaders and Dale Carnegie Training.
