We’re introducing a refreshed look and an evolved organizational structure that builds on our longstanding expertise in industrial refrigeration and gas processing.

Rather than running independent operations, we’ve reorganized into one integrated group of technical experts. We are still Startec, but we’ve refined our identity to better reflect who we are, who we serve, and how we create value.

One of Startec’s greatest strengths has always come from our complementary expertise in designing, building, and servicing mission critical refrigeration and gas processing systems.

Our reorganization is a recognition of this strength, and an alignment of our businesses to deliver unparalleled support for customers wherever they are in the asset’s lifecycle.

Together Thermal and Process consolidates our 50 years of technical process and refrigeration expertise.

To further leverage our strengths, we’ve reorganized into three operating teams. Each team covers an essential step in the developmental lifecycle of an operation. Internally, we’re calling this convergence the One Startec Initiative.

Operating as One Startec allows us to break down traditional boundaries, bring the right expertise to the table earlier, and generate ideas that may not emerge within either business independently.

Our New Team Structure

Solutions – Focused on designing and advancing early-stage initiatives into investable projects. Our role is to provide highly specialized industrial refrigeration and gas process technical expertise during the early stages of project development. Specifically, we provide core thermal and process system engineering and design support to Engineering firms, EPCs and Owners for feasibility, pre-FEED, and FEED studies.

Design-Build – Provides detailed engineering, in-house fabrication and assembly for a wide range of modular and field constructed thermal and process systems.

Aftermarket Service – Provides services to support safe, reliable, efficient, and cost-effective operations. They offer a wide range of services, including planned maintenance, parts, repairs and rebuilds, as well as engineering debottlenecking and optimization.

The core advantage of an integrated team is cross-functional experience. By involving experts from each lifecycle stage, we’re able to anticipate a broader range of needs that increase constructability, serviceability and system performance, while reducing risks, cost and schedule.
