HOW RETROFITTING THIS PLANT INCREASED PRODUCTIVITY WITHOUT EXTENSIVE DOWNTIME

Every year in August, Startec holds the John Anton Memorial Golf Tournament to commemorate one of our own Everyday Mavericks who sadly lost his battle with cancer in March 2013. John is fondly remembered as a friend, colleague, teammate and valued employee whose favourite pastime was playing the game of golf.

On October 2, 2023, a delegation of over 50 Alberta business leaders arrived in our nation’s capital to meet with federal government officials. Their mission was twofold: to share a renewed narrative about our province, and to reinforce Canada’s opportunity to lead.

At Startec, we are excited to unveil the next phase of our journey. As of July 2023, Joel Cawthorn, who’s been with Startec for more than 30 years and has been leading Startec Refrigeration Services as President for the past 15 years, is evolving his role within the organization.
